Classes January 18, 2008

Filed under: Classes, Uncategorized — pagesintime @ 8:38 pm

Be sure to check out our February schedule of classes on our website and in our store. If you aren’t already on our email list, drop us a line and we’ll send you a copy of Feb. classes! We’ve got a great line up. We’ll be creating an album shaped like a heart for Valentine gift-giving, giving a class on how to use the original Cricut and making a cute card using the “basic” cartridge that comes with the machine, and creating a “Triptych” stand-up album. And of course, our monthly midnight scrap is included in our Feb. calendar. Hope you’ll take advantage of one or more of the classes!

CHA is on it’s way January 18, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — pagesintime @ 8:34 pm

The holidays are over and now we can settle into an everyday routine. I hope that routine includes scrapbooking at times! Thanks to all that helped us have a great inventory reduction sale at the end of the year. Now it’s time to restock with new products. The CHA (Craft and Hobby Assoc.) has their big winter trade show the second week of February. This is the main time when vendors release new products….so that means new designs, new embellishments, & new ideas! We’ve already started ordering from the vendors that allow a “sneak peek”, but will also be doing some heavy ordering after the show. So be sure to stop in over the upcoming weeks and check out the new stuff! Nothing like new goodies to inspire you!

Merry Christmas! December 24, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — pagesintime @ 5:03 pm

I hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas season! I’m writing this on Dec. 24th, so I’m still anticipating mine, but I’m sure it will be glorious. You know, every year I tell myself I’m not going crazy on things for the kids, but every year I spend the same amount! My wish is that one of these years I’ll focus more on the meaning of Christmas and the celebration of Christ’s birth, and not so much on buying “stuff”. But, boy, I get caught up in the “hoopla” and it takes prodding for me to remember why I’m buying in the first place! I know gift-giving give people (myself included) great joy, but the gift of Christ himself should bring greater joy, right? I hope it does to you, not only through this season, but also through the whole year.

Pages is closed Dec 25th and 26th (I usually take the kids to a movie and spend the day with them the day after Christmas), but we’ll be open Dec 27 until 5pm, Dec 28th until midnight, and Dec. 29th until 5 pm. Those days will also feature our Inventory Reduction sale for year-end counting, so be sure to stop in during those three days and take advantage of the sale to stock up!

I’m Baaaack! November 28, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — pagesintime @ 3:34 pm

Disney crewWell, my husband has admitted that this was his best trip to Disney. We stayed at a resort, so we were able to take the bus everywhere which meant no driving hassles. Plus, I had made all of our dinner reservations prior to the trip and that all went very smoothly. We tried to go to one of the parks on Monday morning, but all we accomplished were lunch and a train ride! Way too full. Needless to say, the remaining week, we sat poolside at the resort through the mornings and afternoons, managed to part with the pool and went to the parks for dinner and spent the evenings there. Much better…still full, but much better! However, it was a wonderful week spent re-connecting as a family (with two teenagers you need to do that every once in a while) and enjoying the beautiful weather and the resort (can you say “spa”?!).

Now it’s onto the Christmas season. Can you believe it?! Make sure you come into the store on Saturday, Dec. 1st as we hold our annual Christmas Open House. Enjoy refreshments, a free make-n-take, and a sale! (nothing like a good sale to put you in the Christmas shopping mood, huh?) Hope to see you then!

Happy Thanksgiving! November 8, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — pagesintime @ 6:46 pm

I can’t believe it’s only two weeks until Thanksgiving! Amazing how time really flies when the kids go back to school. However, I am looking forward to Thanksgiving because I’ve talked my husband into going to Disneyworld one more time….much to his chagrin. We’re spending the week there and are hoping for warm weather and sunshine! Our holiday hours are as follows: Closed Monday, open Tuesday Nov. 20 10-5, closed Wed. thru Fri., re-opening Saturday, Nov. 24.

We are still getting new products in. New to the store now is the laser cut sheets by KI Memories. They were listed as one of CK’s “Top Ten” from the summer CHA show and have finally arrived! We’ve gotten 5 different varieties in. We also have a sampling of KI’s ”Noel” line by Elsie.  Soon to arrive is the Stitchz progam by Bazzill. Templates, thread, and pre-pierced pages! A easy way to sew your pages without a machine! We’ve expanded our wedding line with Reminisce’s “Wedded Bliss”. Create your own invites and thank you cards using beautiful shimmer paper, stickers, and rub-ons. Be sure to check out our new laser chipboard albums. We have a number of varieties from BoBunny and the Laser Lady. Come in and see the samples we’ve created. These are great little books to give and to keep!

Well, enjoy your holiday. I hope you can spend it with friends or family, and God Bless.

Where’s fall? October 18, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — pagesintime @ 6:52 pm

It sure doesn’t feel like fall outside! I’m looking forward to that slight cold snap in the air, enough that you need a light jacket and the kids welcome the heat in the house after they’ve played outside. I hope we actually get to enjoy fall, and don’t leap into winter!

Of course, colder weather makes us think of scrapbooking! (hopefully) We’ve gotten the majority of our new products in-store now, although there is always more on order. We have to think Christmas already, even though it’s not even the end of October! Believe it or not, we’ve even pre-ordered things for Valentine’s Day! We are offering a gift registry to everyone this year, and free Christmas gift wrapping. Be sure to send in your friends and family to pick up the items on your registry, and they can get it wrapped for free! How easy is that?! Next time you are in the store, ask for a card from the registry and spend some time walking around, adding whatever it is that you want to see under your tree!

Our thanks to our loyal customers. Without you, this store would not be able to continue. We pride ourselves on great customer service, and stock items in the store that you can’t find in the larger “box” stores. Be sure to shop local independent scrapbook stores to get a greater variety!

Please bear with us as we transfer our web site to another server! This should be finished in another week or so. As soon as we are able, we will update the calendar and current events pages. We’re also looking at re-doing the page itself so watch for changes!

New products in store September 15, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — pagesintime @ 3:21 pm

We’ve been receiving new products weekly now, and have even gotten in some new Christmas lines from Imaginisce and Webster’s Pages. Imaginisce papers have glitter on each of them, and Webster’s Pages are beautiful, vintage style papers. We also have the Bo Bunny Christmas line on order along with the word books from Bo Bunny that have been featured in ads. Along with that, there are also new acrylic stamps, new Basic Grey collection packs, and even more. We have the school collection from Junkitz in stock now, plus four new collections from My Mind’s Eye.

Watch for a new line from Bazzill called Stitch’z. This features pre-punch designs that you can sew, plus their own line of thread and templates for creating your own pages! This line is set to release in October.

Also on order is the new felt fusion embellishments from Queen & Co. Great themed designs in self-adhesive borders. We’ve also ordered two of the “Paintable” papers from Prima – it takes you back to your coloring page days. You can add inks, colored pencils or pastels to create your own masterpiece.

As you can see, we’ve been busy keeping up with the new products! Make sure you come in often to check out what’s new!
