This Friday, Sept. 28 and Sat. Sept. 29, we are participating in the nationwide crop event to benefit breast cancer research! We have extended store hours on Friday: 10am – midnight. We have a lot of women coming in to crop over those two days and $12.50 of their crop fees will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation. Plus, all pink items are 10% off for those two days. There is still room to register for cropping on Friday from 10-5 and Saturday from 10-5, so give us a call and join in the festivities! 717-625-4455
Favorite embellishments survey September 15, 2007
I love to use ribbons and rub-ons on my pages. I’m also anxious to try the new Stitch’z line by Bazzill. Let us know what your favorite embellishment is, and which one you’d like to try!
New products in store September 15, 2007
We’ve been receiving new products weekly now, and have even gotten in some new Christmas lines from Imaginisce and Webster’s Pages. Imaginisce papers have glitter on each of them, and Webster’s Pages are beautiful, vintage style papers. We also have the Bo Bunny Christmas line on order along with the word books from Bo Bunny that have been featured in ads. Along with that, there are also new acrylic stamps, new Basic Grey collection packs, and even more. We have the school collection from Junkitz in stock now, plus four new collections from My Mind’s Eye.
Watch for a new line from Bazzill called Stitch’z. This features pre-punch designs that you can sew, plus their own line of thread and templates for creating your own pages! This line is set to release in October.
Also on order is the new felt fusion embellishments from Queen & Co. Great themed designs in self-adhesive borders. We’ve also ordered two of the “Paintable” papers from Prima – it takes you back to your coloring page days. You can add inks, colored pencils or pastels to create your own masterpiece.
As you can see, we’ve been busy keeping up with the new products! Make sure you come in often to check out what’s new!
Extended Hours on Friday, Sept 14 September 13, 2007
The shop will be open for extended hours this Friday. We will be open from 10 – 5 and again from 7 pm until midnight. We are hosting a private crop, but you can take advantage of the extra hours and do some late night shopping! Take 10% off your entire purchase if you mention this blog entry when you make your purchase on this one day only!

I’ve uploaded some photos of a possible class in November. This will be an intermediate to advanced class taught by Claire Taylor. This album features “You” or whomever you’d like it to feature! It includes a lot of paper piecing, inking, and sewing the pages together. Drop me a line or stop in and see the sample in the store now, and let me know if you’d be interested in learning how to create this incredible book! Due to the complexity of the class, the fee will be $28.00 and should take approx. 2 hours to complete.
Back to School – time to scrapbook! September 6, 2007
Ahh…the sound of school buses! Isn’t it amazing how that sound can fill you with joy and sadness all at the same time? Joy that the house ( & time) is once again yours to do what you want with it, and sadness that you really will miss those buggers! I don’t know about you, but I do like getting back into a routine, but I wouldn’t want school year-round!
Anyway, now it’s time to pull out the scrapbooks again and get caught up! Our store is gearing up with new products arriving weekly, and new classes forming. Come in and take advantage of them!
See you soon,
Laurie
